Barometer Fair started life in London, England, although John Forster, the founder, first developed an interest in barometers in 1979 while living in the North of England. What was originally a hobby or pastime became a business in London in 1986 and then transferred to Sarasota, Florida in 1993. Barometer Fair offers a complete restoration service as well as a large stock of fully restored, working, antique barometers.

Charlie started his business in 1981 and began exhibiting at charity shows in 1986. Based in Chapel Hill, NC, he handles appraisals and consultations for estate dispersal. 

Elizabeth Bernheisel creates contemporary botanical and abstract artwork for collected interiors. Inspired by gardens, vintage botanical studies and decorative arts, her work blends expressive mark-making with sophisticated color, scale, and composition - bringing warmth, depth, and a distinctive artistic presence to elevated residential and hospitality spaces.

The Sassafras Shop is known for reasonable American and English case pieces , fun English smalls , and French and English copper. 2026 represents our 50th year in business and the experience traveling to French brocantes, English fairs and treasure hunting in America we hope is reflected in what we present! Be it a precious English sterling dresser jar to a southern cherry chest of drawers. Our philosophy -antiques should be accessible to everyone to create a warmth in a home that no other decorative accessory can.

Timmons Gallery offers original antique and vintage French posters, antique prints & maps, ephemera and antique photographs. We have been in business over 30 years and are based in Woodbine, GA. We sell worldwide through our website and at various shows throughout the southeastern US and New England.

Susan's love for antiques goes all the way back to childhood, when she accompanied her parents to the Shipshewana (Indiana) antiques & flea show, and always managed to find treasures for herself. Helping in her Dad's workshop, she learned to appreciate hand craftmanship and the art of refinishing and reviving old pieces. And, as a lifelong avid reader, her interest soon focused on collecting old books and papers Fast forward now, seventy- five or so years and the appreciation has never left her... for the old, the handcrafted, and the written word. After retiring from teaching, she began participating in both antiques & book shows and continues to do so today. Susan much prefers the person-to-person interaction of the show venue, as opposed to selling online. For her, it's all about the stories, the history, the explanations, and the sharing.
