Growing up on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina, Tim Adams was inspired by his father’s love of building, his mother’s artistic eye, and a formative visit to the Biltmore Estate that sparked his calling to architecture. Known for designs rooted in Colonial Revival, Shingle Style, and Gilded Age traditions, his work reinterprets historic precedents with authentic proportions, timeless details, and a sense of soul that transcends time. Tim’s philosophy is captured in his book Tradition Made New: Houses with a Sense of Soul and History, which highlights projects that blend history with contemporary living. Dedicated to building strong client relationships, he approaches every project with collaboration and creativity.
